Internet and mobile versions

The widespread use of the Internet, coupled with the advent of Internet Radio, meant that Super Radio had to follow the trend. It was not enough for us to survive in these times. We also had to reach out to an ever growing audience online.

Super Radio was among the first radio stations to adopt a mobile platform. We offer mobile radio at a price far below that of our competition. Not to mention that we offer a bigger library of music to choose from.

A massive library of songs

We have some of the most popular songs in our library. Not only that, you can also choose from a wide range of genres. These include classical, standards, pop, alternative, and rock. We also have a large library of music from independent artists the world over. Few other radio stations could ever claim to add a virtual unknown to their playlist. But we are different.

It has been our view that some of the best music being played right now came from the unheard of in the industry. Some have surpassed this obscurity and become world class acts. Yet there are some who enjoy limited fame. For example, The Seventh Street Irregulars.

We repeat, some of the best music came from the unheard of in the industry. This means that if you’re out there making some music, all you need to do is give us a call. You can even give us a visit. It doesn’t matter if we’ve never heard of you or your music. If we like what we hear, you can be sure that we’ll play it. Super Radio believes in giving everyone their due. So don’t think twice.

Recruitment ongoing

Maybe you have a passion for music. If you work hard and like to stand out, then we’re hiring! Right now, we’re looking for a rock star DJ to join our ranks. We have a great new show in the works. The main theme of the show is music and social responsibility. If you think you have the right skills for the job, then give it a try. You just might be the one we need to bring it to life!

We’re also looking for call and chat support agents. Our growing online audience meant the need for more agents. If you have prior experience in the support industry, head on over to our main office. Make sure to bring your resume. Also, you don’t need to dress in your best clothes. Wear whatever’s natural with you. We have a fairly flexible dress code.

One more spot that needs filling is the researcher position. Mark and Dana do pretty well in that department. But there’s a growing number of shows at the station. If you have a geek-level knowledge of all things music, Mark and Dana would like to talk with you.

Lastly, we’re looking for a production assistant to help bring one of our older shows back to the fore. Badly Bruised Ego was a big hit during our campus station days. But shortly after the expansion, the old crew went on to bigger things. Now we need someone to work their magic. We prefer someone with prior experience. If you’ve listened to the old show, that’s even better. Nonetheless, don’t be afraid to try out even if you haven’t. If you can prove that you have the skills, then it doesn’t matter. We’ll hire you, with or without prior experience.

Lasting legacy

We are proud to say that we are one of the oldest all-genre radio stations still active up to now. Other radio stations, big and small, have come and gone. Not Super Radio. We remain alive and eager to serve you!

It is perhaps a testament to our endurance that Mark and Dana, the station’s two founders, remain very committed to Super Radio’s continued success. These two, along with Mr. Pallance, are part of the reason why we are still kicking. And, of course, let’s not forget the most important reason: you!

Without our loyal listeners, we would never have gotten this far. We take this time to speak and thank you from the bottom of our heart. Keep on listening, stay super!
